Our Process

Collaboration is essential to our design process, so before we begin, it’s important for you to know how we’ll work together.

 

THE BASICS

  • Our working hours are Monday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm GMT. We aim for same-day responses to existing clients who get in touch during office hours.

  • To keep our process streamlined, we communicate through email + Google Docs.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

What you’re getting: A bespoke, functional website designed to sell your products and services. We'll build it using Shopify or Squarespace, which means you’ll be able to update it easily, and we'll also include our recommended themes, apps and templates!

Besides the tech stuff, we’ll also meet for a video chat strategy session to nail down all your needs and get us both on the same page. Once your project begins, we’ll have regular contact to review what’s been done so far, and where we’re going next.

 

ALSO INCLUDED:

Ongoing support during your project, including: 

  • A complete Client Project pack

  • Squarespace / Shopify training

  • A detailed, personalised handover

  • One month of post-launch support

 

ADMIN ESSENTIALS:

  • Domain name, social media & newsletter linkup

  • Search Engine Optimisation: Standard SEO setup

  • Pre-launch testing on all devices (desktop, tablet & mobile)


 

PLUS:

  • 20% off your first year of Squarespace

  • An optional pre-launch teaser page 

  • Up to 3 revisions after the initial design is complete

 

 WEEK 1: PROJECT SETUP 

We’ll send you our design questionnaire, along with your project pack, which includes all of the information we need to get started. 

 

 WEEK 2: CONTENT CREATION

This week, using our guidelines, you'll prepare your website content. Once that’s submitted, we’ll have a catch-up call to discuss the next steps!

 

 WEEK 3: DESIGN & BUILD

Next, we’ll design and build your website. You’ll take a look at what we’ve made so far, and you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback and answer any questions.

 

  WEEK 4 - TEST & HANDOVER

Once everything is tested, approved, and your site is up and running, you’ll receive a full handover, complete with a CMS training session and website walkthrough.

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Here’s what we like to see before we get started:

  • A Pinterest board packed with aesthetics and experiences you’d like to see on your website.
  • Your responses to our carefully designed questionnaire. This gives us an in-depth look at your business, so we can strategically plan your site.
  • Your content, including any text and images you want to use. This allows us to focus the design effectively, highlighting what’s important and guiding visitors around the site.

     

    AVAILABILITY

    We book 3 months in advance and we only work on two client design packages per month to ensure we dedicate enough time to each project. 

     

    PAYMENT SCHEDULE

    Each project fee is divided into three payments. Here’s how it works: 

    • 20% deposit to secure your booking
    • 40% of the fee on the start date
    • 40% of the fee on the project completion 

       

      All invoices must be paid within seven days. Any additional costs (for licenses, for example) are due prior to the website’s launch. Payment plans available on request.
